THOMSEN MOLLY & LARRY Larry & Molly Thomsen were married 60 years ago , they went to the same infant school and were baptised and married in the same church in Newcastle-On-Tyne. Larry served with the Durham Light Infantry during the war. After the war they met again on his return from the army and later were married. They left the north as Larry joined the West Midlands Police where he served for 30 years in the uniform branch and C.I.D. On retirement he worked at Bournville police station, command and control. They were both keen badminton players and he was once police badminton champion. Molly worked in the Birmingham education department for many years. Their family live and work in the Birmingham area. With the family, relatives from the north and long standing friends, they will celebrate 60 years of marriage on September 4th with Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church and at Moor Hall, Sutton Coldfield.
